Develops training materials, certification pathways, and onboarding content to help insurance customers and partners effectively use the AI-powered platform.
At hyperexponential, we’re building the AI-powered platform that enables the world’s most critical decisions in a $7 trillion industry, which risks to take, and how to price them. These are the decisions that shape real-world outcomes: whether rockets successfully launch into space, autonomous vehicles make it to market, or communities recover after major storms.
Until now, insurance has been making billion-dollar decisions using outdated tools. We’re changing that. Our platform brings together data, AI, and human expertise to give insurers the fastest path from submission to decision - helping them move faster, act smarter, and take on more risk with confidence.
Backed by a16z, Highland Europe, and Battery Ventures, we’re scaling globally - already trusted by nearly 50 of the world’s largest insurers, with zero churn and billions in premiums flowing through hx.
What began as a single product in one market has rapidly evolved into a multi-product, multi-territory platform powering every stage of pricing and underwriting. AI is at the core of what we do - from building the world’s first domain-specific AI peer programmer for insurance (think GitHub Copilot with a PhD in actuarial science) to shaping agentic workflows that reinvent how this industry operates.
What makes hx different is the people who build it. Here, impact isn’t tied to title or tenure; it’s defined by the challenges you take on and the discipline you bring. Surrounded by peers who stretch you, you’ll do the best, hardest work of your life in a company engineered to endure.
If that sounds like you, join us in building what comes next.
Every hx customer’s success depends on their teams knowing how to use our platform well - not just how to click through it, but how to build genuinely good pricing models with it. Client Education exists to make that happen. We sit at the intersection of Product, Partnerships, and Customer teams, turning new features and platform capability into training, certification, and documentation that our clients and delivery partners can actually learn from.
The team owns the full learning journey: onboarding new clients, building certification pathways, producing courses and video content, and supporting partners who deliver training on our behalf. As hx’s product surface has grown - Decision Engine, Pricing & Rating, Portfolio Intelligence, Submission Triage, and our AI agents - so has the volume and complexity of what we need to teach, and we’re growing the team to keep pace.
We’re looking for a Client Education Associate to join as a core part of this effort. Your focus will be delivering technical training directly to clients and partners, and supporting the team in building and maintaining the courses and certifications that make that training possible. You’ll need enough technical grounding to be credible in front of a room of actuaries and developers, and enough teaching instinct to make complex material land.
Deliver technical training sessions, live and online, to clients and partners - covering everything from platform fundamentals to how to build pricing models using hx’s AI agents and product tooling.
Build and maintain high-quality course content (online modules, video tutorials, workshop materials) that keeps pace with new product releases and evolving client needs.
Support the design and delivery of certification assessments, including practical exercises where candidates build real pricing tools in the hx platform.
Partner with Product, Customer, and Partnerships teams to translate new features into training material clients can actually use from day one.
Contribute to our partner enablement programme, helping external delivery partners onboard and deliver hx training to a consistent standard.
Help maintain and improve our course health and documentation processes, flagging content that’s fallen out of date or out of line with current product naming and messaging.
Delivered training, workshops, or technical explanations to a non-technical or semi-technical audience, and can point to material you’ve built or taught from.
Studied Computer Science or a related technical discipline, or built equivalent hands-on comfort with programming languages (Python or similar) through experience.
Worked hands-on with SaaS tools, APIs, or similar technical products, even without a formal software engineering background.
Taken the initiative to build or improve a course, process, or piece of learning content, rather than just following someone else’s structure.
Communicated confidently and clearly with clients or external stakeholders, adjusting technical depth to fit the audience in front of you.
Worked well in an environment where scope shifts and you’re expected to figure things out rather than wait for a fully defined brief.
You’d rather follow a fixed curriculum than build and adapt training material as the product changes under you.
You’re not comfortable being hands-on with technical concepts and tooling, even at a foundational level.
You prefer working in isolation rather than pulling in context from Product, Customer, and Partnerships teams to get training right.
If reading our Culture Document leaves you feeling neutral rather than energised, hx may not be the place where you’ll do your best work. We’re building something that asks for commitment and conviction, and we want you to feel excited by the opportunity to grow with us.
At hx, we’re committed to salary transparency. You’ll always have clarity on pay early in the process - our Talent Partner will share details with you during initial conversations - and we’re working towards publishing salary information for all roles globally.
Because we’re building at the intersection of technology/SaaS and insurance, our roles don’t always map neatly onto traditional benchmarks. Our approach is to design compensation that’s competitive in the market, fair across teams, and aligned with the impact our people make.
Equity: We offer equity across all roles at hx, making it a significant component of total compensation. Your talent partner will be able to share more details about this.

Astrophysics Course Description:
Beginning from the cosmic chaos, astrophysics will delineate the foundation goals of the field by tracing the evolution of the universe from its origins through to modern times and probing into its future fate.
Students will delve into the depths of the cosmos to push their understanding to the very frontier of the unknown, and perchance beyond that! Students embarking on this adventure will be introduced to the wave-particle duality of light, radiation, and stellar evolution, illuminating their curiosities in the process. They will then explore advanced topics in cosmology such as supermassive black holes, spacetime fabric, and mapping the large-scale structure of the cosmos. Studies will culminate with Einstein’s Theory of Relativity.
The curriculum is supported by computational simulations of dark matter and galactic formation, physical demonstration, student-led discussions, and thought experiments. Observational astronomy will be interlaced into the course using solar and night sky observational telescopes, focusing on techniques for identifying the constellations and naked-eye astronomy. Students will pursue their final research in a self-selected specification of interest. Projects vary but are all relevant to modern professional research and exploration, such as observational astrophysics, astroparticle physics, or physical cosmology. Their final research projects will incorporate real data from working telescopes and research laboratories.

About the Role
Location: Remote, United States
Role-Type: Full-Time, W2 Employee
Reports To: Senior Manager of AI Practice, Claude Corps
Compensation: $110,000 to $124,500 per year
Start Date: September 21st, ahead of the October 19th cohort launch
Together with Anthropic, CodePath launched Claude Corps in June 2026, a national fellowship program with a $150 million commitment to place 1,000 AI-trained fellows at nonprofits across America. A fellowship is only as good as the engineer riding alongside the fellow when something breaks at midnight. As a CodePath Mentor, that engineer is you.
You are the full-time technical coach for a portfolio of roughly ten pods: about 20 fellows across 8-12 host organizations, from pre-Basecamp through the final day of the program. You are the coach that develops the fellow: you have first eyes on every pull request, you catch the patterns when something is off, and you proactively resolve any roadblocks that come up. The host org directs the fellow’s day-to-day work, the curriculum team owns what they learn, and your Delivery Manager is the manager of record who holds the performance bar. Your job is to make each fellow better at the work.
The work is mostly written and asynchronous: code review on pull requests, feedback on roadmap drafts and quarterly business reviews, weekly office hours, and a few synchronous deep dives when something needs more than text. You will not be the deepest expert in the room for every fellow, and we are honest about that. You carry the throughline: you know your pods end to end, see patterns nobody else sees, and pull in deeper expertise the moment a single fellow needs it.
This role is built for engineers who would rather coach 20 engineers through real production work than ship one feature themselves. You are a few years further down the road than the fellows: enough professional reps to read code with judgment, a real coaching instinct, and the AI-native practice fellows are being trained to build.
Key Responsibilities
Coach your pods
Carry roughly 10 pods (about 20 fellows across 8 to 12 host organizations) full-time from pre-Basecamp through final day, calibrating your time across the portfolio rather than sinking into one pod
Have first eyes on every fellow’s pull request, and give structured written feedback on their real work (PRs, roadmap drafts, architecture proposals, QBR deliverables) at the cohort’s pace, not your inbox’s
Facilitate weekly 1:1s with all of the Fellows that report to you and document their progress, challenges, and successes using the tooling that Claude Corps operates on
Lead each fellow’s Day 30/90/180/270 milestone review; you own the fellow-level synthesis and hand it up to your Delivery Manager, who owns the roll-up and the performance call
Deliver the curriculum in your pods
Deliver the just-in-time modules the curriculum team designs; author lane- or pod-specific content when they commission it, because you have seen the gap from closer in
Frame and debrief the cohort-wide all-hands your Delivery Manager runs, and the sessions where the curriculum team or a guest teaches your fellows directly
Co-lead the Basecamp practical assessment alongside Anthropic’s instructors; it is your first calibration on each cohort
Keep the program honest
When the same problem shows up across three fellows, raise it to the right owner: the Claude Corps leadership team for program efficacy, the curriculum team for curriculum, partner experts for technical depth, host-org managers for a host issue, or your Delivery Manager for a delivery or performance issue
Be the first stop when a fellow’s technical work is at risk; surface it to your Delivery Manager, who owns the escalation
Work AI-natively: Claude is core to your coaching loop for code review, pattern-spotting, and feedback at scale, and fellows should see you working the way they are being asked to work
Key Success Metrics
You have surfaced the top three cohort-wide technical patterns to your Delivery Manager and the curriculum team
100% of host-org managers you’ve worked with in the last 30 days can produce one concrete example of your impact
Every Day 30 review is done and documented, handed up to your Delivery Manager, with a plan for any fellow whose work is at risk or ready for the next challenge
Qualifications
Required
2 to 4 years of professional software engineering on a real team: long enough to have opinions about code, short enough to remember being the most junior engineer in the room
Real coaching or mentorship reps, formal or not: an intern you saw through a summer, a teammate you onboarded, a bootcamp you TA’d. We are hiring the instinct, not a management title
You can read a pull request you didn’t write, in a stack you don’t use every day, and give feedback that is specific and useful
You have shipped production work with AI-assisted development tools and can describe specifically how your workflow changed; you have to be ahead of the fellows on this curve
You are comfortable as a generalist coach: you find the answer or the right person quickly, and you trust partner experts to carry the depth you don’t
Strong written communication; most of your feedback is asynchronous, read by people who don’t speak your stack
Comfortable with remote, synchronous obligations across US time zones and about two evenings a month for cohort sessions and milestone reviews
Preferred
TA, bootcamp coach, fellowship mentor, or instructor experience in a cohort program, even informally
Experience at a small or scrappy organization where engineering meant translating business context into technical decisions
Comfort across at least two of: web full-stack, data/AI engineering, ML, infra/devops
Compensation
CodePath has standardized salaries based on the position’s level, no matter where you live. For this role, we’re hiring for an Individual Contributor level position at an annual salary of $110,000 to $124,500. Salary is determined based on your relevant experience and skills as evaluated through our interview process.
